The Health & Care Professions Council (previously HPC, The Health Professions Council until July 2012) regulate a number of health professions and police the quality of treatments the professions give.
Your physiotherapist must be a member of the HCPC to practice physiotherapy in the UK. You can check the register on their website to confirm that yours is registered.
